How Pactora Global handles information across sourcing enquiries, accounts and FOB estimates.
Information we collect
When you use Pactora Global, we may receive information you provide through contact forms, project enquiries, account registration and the FOB Cost Estimator. This can include your name, email address, company or brand, product requirements, quantity, decoration, destination, target price and related commercial information.
If you create an account, we also store account details needed to provide your private sourcing workspace. Passwords are not stored in plain text; authentication credentials are protected using one-way password hashing.
FOB Estimator and saved estimates
FOB Estimator submissions are used to create an indicative sourcing range, associate that estimate with the correct account and make the result available in your private dashboard. Saved estimate records may include the inputs you submitted, the indicative range or review status, target-price assessment, creation date and generated PDF.
Indicative estimates are planning tools and are not confirmed factory quotations. The commercial data you submit may also be included in Pactora internal lead notifications so the sourcing team can understand the request if follow-up is appropriate.
Email delivery and follow-up
Transactional emails needed to provide a requested service — for example account access, password reset or delivery of an FOB estimate — may be sent regardless of whether you opt in to broader sourcing follow-up.
Where a separate follow-up checkbox is offered, that preference is recorded independently. We do not treat use of the estimator itself as consent to unrelated promotional communication.
Website usage and analytics
The website may process technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as request information, page paths and referrer information. The site also uses session storage to remember whether the introductory animation has already been shown during the current browser session.
Analytics integrations such as Google Analytics or LinkedIn Insight may be enabled through site configuration. When enabled, those services can receive browser and usage data according to their own technologies and terms. Pactora should configure analytics and consent controls appropriate to the markets in which the site operates.
How we use information
- Provide and secure user accounts and private dashboard access.
- Generate, store and deliver requested FOB estimates and PDFs.
- Review sourcing enquiries and respond to commercial requirements.
- Operate, troubleshoot, protect and improve the website and account portal.
- Measure website performance and campaign effectiveness where analytics has been enabled.
- Comply with applicable legal, security and record-keeping obligations.
Retention and account deletion
We aim to keep personal and commercial information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the service, sourcing follow-up, security, legitimate business records or applicable legal obligations.
The Account page includes a Close Account control. Closing an account removes the portal account, saved FOB estimates and associated estimate files from the portal storage used by the website. Copies already delivered by email, security logs or business records may remain where deletion is not technically possible or where retention is reasonably required for legal, security or legitimate business purposes.
Security
Pactora uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect account and sourcing information, including server-side authorization for private estimates, secure session cookies in production and one-way password hashing. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and users should keep their account credentials confidential.
International users and data handling
Pactora works with international buyers and sourcing activities may involve service providers or business operations in more than one country. Where information is handled across borders, Pactora should apply safeguards appropriate to the information, the service and applicable legal requirements.
Your choices and contact
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or to object to certain uses. Account holders can close their portal account from Account Settings.
